Ingredients
- 3 cups of water
- 1 cup of saponaria powder
- 1 cup of white vinegar
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of coarse salt
- 2 tablespoons baking soda
Elaboration
- In a saucepan or pot pour the water and vinegar, put it on the fire and leave it over medium heat. When it reaches the boiling point, lower it and let it simmer for a couple of minutes while you stir.
- Raise over medium heat and, while stirring, add the coarse salt, the saponaria powder, the lemon juice and the baking soda. To add them correctly remember not to stop mixing and wait for each ingredient to be well integrated into the mixture before adding the next one.
- Keep mixing until the last ingredient has dissolved well and when you have a homogeneous mixture, you can turn off the heat and remove the saucepan to let it cool.
- When it has cooled completely and is at room temperature you can store it in the bottle you have chosen for it.
- We recommend that you label the bottle so that you always know what type of soap it is or what it contains.
- If there is ever something thick left in the bottle as it gets colder, you just need to shake it a little to get the soap out.

- 6 and 1/2 tablespoons (100 g) of used oil. It can be any used in the kitchen.
- 1 and 1/2 cups of mineral water.
- 1 cup of saponaria powder or dried flowers and leaves.
- 20 or 25 drops of essential oil of lavender, lemon or another aroma that we like.

Preparation
- Filter the oil that you have used to cook with a pot and a filter for coffee, you can also use a funnel if you need it. In this way, you will remove all possible food residues.
- Bring water to boil in a pot and when it is at the boiling point and leave the heat low, add the saponaria or soap plant and stir.
- Stir until the saponaria is dissolved or as integrated as possible.
- Add the oil while you continue mixing.
- Also add the essential oil and continue mixing until you get a homogeneous mixture.
- Turn off the heat and remove the pot from the stove to cool.
- When it starts to get warm, pour the mixture into the molds and let it cool. You can put it in the fridge to make it cool faster, as it can take several days outside to harden well.
- Once the tablets are hard, unmold them and allow them to finish air drying for a few hours or even a day. You must store them in a dry and ventilated area.
How To Make Liquid Dishwasher Soap From Used Oil
- To make liquid dish soap, now grate or cut the bars into small pieces in a large bowl or container.
- Boil water separately and when it starts to boil, pour it over the grated grates of the tablets until they are well covered. Stir well until the ingredients are well integrated.
- Add alcohol, specifically 0.5% of the amount you used oil, depending on the final amount of soap you make.
