The most original tennis court
The perception of a place and space can change in a few minutes if we have a bit of imagination, and of course install one tennis court within a church it may be one of the ways of understanding a space of worship from another perspective.
We have to move to Milan to be able to understand a peculiar artistic installation with the name of «untitled» (Untitled) by the hand of its creator Asad Raza. He has literally installed a neon orange interactive tennis court in a 16th century church in Milan. (Also in the same line of surprising the user with how to rebuild a church with wire mesh)

Don't worry! … At the time, the church of Chiesa Di San Paolo was "deconsecrated" (What is called the exsecratio of a sacred building, most of it is related to profane acts that occurred inside it. Among the most common throughout history is the murder or the celebration of a sacrilegious rite inside the temple) to become a space for contemporary art called Converso.
The artist's goal is to explore the interactions between different objects, humans and "non-human" beings that inhabit and coexist in a space - which at the time was a place of meeting and worship - through social practices. A tennis installation framed by different lines, nets, rackets or personal trainers that make up a space for recreation and personal growth.

A site with a high symbolic charge where players interact with each other through the ball and the fabric of the tennis court that serves as a way to release energy and feed the spirit. In this way, the exhibition recreates the gaming experience above a purely visual appreciation.
The exhibition is totally free for the public and interactive, where you are invited to participate in the game of tennis surrounded by works of art painted at the end of the 16th century by Antonio Campi and Giulio. Of course, a unique experience!
The practice of the game contributes an important value to society and we could already confirm it in the article about what happens if we combine basketball, design and French fashion … Surprises, and very pleasant!
