When religious architecture surprises
We know that many architects are becoming interested in religious architecture in benefit of being able to project almost impossible buildings, with truly audacious geometries and structures that provide an immaculate space for worship and prayer. Other designers opt for simplicity, religious minimalism at its finest.
Tastes for everyone, but the reality is that we are in "a holy field" to be able to offer visual spectacles that really surprise.

The architects of Asian countries are revolutionizing the concept of the "house of God" in favor of maintaining a
visual balance between religion and nature. The initial example is the "Ribbon Chapel" by Hiroshi Nakamura (Onomichi, Japan). Whose construction was carried out in 2013.
A chapel of approximately 80 square meters that has two spiral staircases that are located and wrap the building, connecting with the upper part to form a new exceptional point of view with impossible curves. In the following video the French architect and filmmaker Vincent Hecht shows us what we are talking about.
But what we want to present is a example of religious architecture settled in China that strips the building of all curves. It looks for simple lines, perfect natural light and the balance between nature and religion at its best from a very peculiar point of view, speaking of its location.
Minimalist religious architecture

"Instead of enforcing the architect's ego or making superficial shapes, the architect has to respect the existing environment with logic and coherent reasoning," according to the office.

Access to the chapel It begins with a path located on the sand of about 30 meters that offers a visual spectacle without equal with a perfect background landscape, the sea. A large staircase gives access to the religious building whose elevation of the building structure is for the benefit and with the intention of being submerged at times of high tide as well as offering pleasant shade to all beach users.
It is clear that the views inside the building are spectacular …

Bamboo boards used in the floor that offer to break the monotony in front of the pure white of the walls in a floor that slides towards an outdoor terrace in its central area.
“Each specific place and location has a unique spirit. Space is a medium that encourages people to perceive such a spirit and we believe that architecture is the tool capable of balancing this trend, allowing us to be sensitive to the beauty of nature »

Different techniques have been used to show natural light as a weapon of feeling and strength, with delicate openings in the walls that provide multiple sensations.

Let's remember that we already made an article of interest and in the same line of another example with architecture religious from the reconstruction of a church based on a singular material, the wire.
