The Ragnarock music house and its musical architecture
Like so many other disciplines, it is inevitable to relate the architecture and music. Words like; spaces, interior design, buildings, intertwine with guitars, hypnotic costumes and apocalyptic voices to create unique experiences. A strange combination of musical architecture and pure spectacle moves from Denmark, and more, when we name the wordRagnarock.
From the outskirts of Copenhagen, in Roskilde, and with all the force of pop and rock culture, we find the new museum dedicated to theHouse music Ragnarock, protected by the COBE studio of architects specialized in public buildings and large-scale urban planning. (We can see another example of the same study from the article architecture for children)

The House music It represents visual hardness, geometric shapes with its 20-meter overhang, gold and reddish, and some simile to those belts that we no longer see so much and that some of us remember. It is part of a new urban landscape to transform and revitalize a district on the outskirts of the city, where the decay of the place is combined with the Rock and Pop music that sounds in some of its industrial buildings, the youth culture and the music festival Roskilde, which since 1971 continues to march.

The interior of the House of Music the forcefulness of the different shades of red and black is reflected in its geometric spaces. Three floors divide the building from music museum; Ground floor where the reception, library and cafeteria are housed, the first for offices and administration, and the last room for exhibitions and concerts.

Both the exterior architecture of the building and the interior of the museum do not leave anyone indifferent, like the museum that we already discussed in the article… Paris and its architecture museum.

A building pleasure, both for the ear and for the eyes.
