Free courses UNAM
This week I was looking for some online courses for the blog and we have stumbled across the platform free training from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Very interesting! So let's tell a little about how it works.
Many students are sure that they already know these training resources, but it is undeniable that other students do not. And being freely accessible, you have to take advantage of the opportunity.
The UNAM education platform is named "I learn more»And it is integrated into the web (it gives us quality and reliability) and from the courses that we have been able to count, there are around 60.
The website works based on a Moodle management, for virtual teaching environments (it is a teaching system designed to create and manage online learning spaces) that is easy to use.
The UNAM courses are totally free and registration for everyone (They are like MOOC courses - Massive Online Open Courses), as long as you have Internet, obviously.
The subjects taught are grouped into four main categories:

- Courses in Physical-Mathematical Sciences and Engineering

- Humanities and Arts courses

What are the Aprendo + courses?
They are courses related to culture, art, health, education, finance, technology, language, etc. that will allow you to acquire new knowledge with online learning and at the pace you want.
The different subjects have a duration of between 6 and 30 hours. They are self-study, that is, you decide when to start and finish each online course. All subjects have videos, images, audios, readings, links to other sites and other elements of interest to complete the training.
Do the UNAM courses have any cost?

What do you get at the end of the course?
An electronic certificate (It has no curricular value). It is a digital badge that validates the achievement in Open Badges (See more HERE). To obtain the digital badge you must:
- Performing all activities to achieve 100% progress
- In these free courses from UNAM you have to get eight in the final questionnaire
- Updating your correct name in your profile (This is important to confirm the correct name)
Badges are awarded based on your score on the final quiz: Gold (Score 9.5-10), Silver (Score 8.5-9.4), and Bronze (Score 8.0-8.4) and can be printed.
