Signs and traffic signals for pedestrians
If we count the traffic signals that exist in our street, the number may surprise us, and abide by all the traffic guidelines in a city is not the strongest point of care that openly recognizes it against the road safety.
Car maker Smart claims it has found a way to make 81 percent of pedestrians obey the traffic signal. The trick: Make the "Does not cross" the crosswalk when it's red it's more fun than usual.
The company conducted the experiment ofsecurityvial in Lisbon obtaining very positive results. So there is a need, not so much of "Make all the traffic lights of the cities dance" but yes to propose different designs and other options of signage in urban spaces to capture the attention of passersby in the most controversial and dangerous parts of a city.
