Despite the fact that a toy trailer may appear at first glance or as some European media have compared it to a horse trailer. The Lumen has its own presence! … And although in its essence it is a passenger trailer, its minimalist design imposes smooth curves where rivets and lower body cross members help give character to that imposing aluminum casing.

The 40-liter fridge slides out of a drawer under the counter, and other upper and lower storage areas hold cookware, dinnerware, and tools. In addition, an outdoor gas connection allows owners in a few minutes to have a grill to prepare meals outdoors.
The interior is as impressive as the exterior thanks to the emphasis on natural, modern and sustainable materials. The teak floor and the leather rear wall create a warm and very different atmosphere from other caravans. The walls are upholstered in soft, dirt-repellent wool felt, with roller felt shades covering the windows at night.
Inside we find a large adjustable queen size bed - which is of course appreciated - along with a wardrobe / dressing unit against the front wall. Buyers can buy the basic or add modern technologies like a 32-inch flat screen, Wi-Fi connectivity or a seven-speaker Bose audio system.
The caravan has also included a set of 100W solar panels on top (You can see as a useful curiosity the solar panel that is rolled up and transported), which is perfect to power all the equipment while we are away from home. Enough to handle necessary lights and small electronics.
The Lume Traveler is characterized by its aluminum sandwich panel construction and rides on a Knott chassis and 15-inch wheelbase on 195/70 R15 tires. It weighs around 1,000 kg and measures 5.2 x 2 x 2.1 m (length x width x height). It can support up to 350 kg of additional weight.
