Cerma calculation program

Version (v2.2 June 2011). CERMA is a Recognized Document-Program for the certification of energy efficiency, in accordance with the provisions of article 3 of Royal Decree 47/2007, of January 19, which approves the Basic Procedure for the energy certification of new buildings . This software has been approved as a Recognized Document by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Commerce.

It is a free application that allows obtaining the energy efficiency rating in newly constructed residential buildings, offering a detailed study to improve the rating obtained. This tool has been developed by the Valencian Institute of Building (IVE) and the Spanish Technical Association for Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (ATECYR), with the technical collaboration of the FREDSOL group of the Department of Applied Thermodynamics of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and promoted by the Department of the Environment, Water, Urban Planning and Housing of the Generalitat Valenciana.

Likewise, it is a recognized document for quality in construction by the Ministry of the Environment, Water, Urbanism and Housing of the Generalitat Valenciana according to a resolution of July 7, 2010 of the Ministry of the Environment, Water, Urbanism and Housing published in the DOGV on August 20, 2010, in accordance with Decree 132/2006, of September 29, of the Consell by which the Recognized Documents are regulated. The code that this tool receives is DRD 05/10.

(BETA June 2011) It is a version adapted to existing buildings of the tool C.E.R.M.A.
The procedure used to delimit the classes can be conceptually extrapolated to existing buildings. Therefore CERMA will be a valid tool to certify existing buildings, although the publication of the extension of the rating scale for existing buildings by the Ministry (letters F and G) is pending.

Since July 2013 it is already recognized by the Ministry of Industry for the energy rating of existing buildings using the abbreviated method.
