The SOLAR EGG project is part of an urban transformation to develop the city of Kiruna (Sweden) for the benefit of its inhabitants.
A sweatshirt bright public that from the outside perspective has a palpable similarity to a golden egg covered with steel plates that reflects the landscape of the city and the white nature that engulfs it. A different design that is on par with this watch that defies gravity for its innovation.
The shape of the egg represents rebirth and new opportunities whose design is influenced by the Arctic climate to strengthen the visual of the changes of seasons with those moments of radical light and darkness.
From outside the steam, 69 pieces form the shell of the egg on acontemporary sauna that exudes good taste for its design and an almost perfect aesthetic that dazzles over the snowy landscapes of cold Sweden.
Theprefab sauna Public is conceived so that it can be dismantled and moved around the city easily, with dimensions of 5 meters high and 4 meters in diameter, whose access to the interior is practiced by a folding golden staircase.
A multi-level wooden interior embraces the visitor for complete relaxation where the details are constant; Geometric drawings on the walls, a hidden lighting or a small boiler for wood closed with iron forging and covered with rocks as a heater in its central part creates a more than cozy atmosphere to enjoy 100% with your companions.
