- Illumination: It does well anywhere, but it does much better in a shady area, especially during the summer when the sun is strongest.
- Temperature: It is not recommended that it be at temperatures below 16ºC, and extremely hot temperatures do not do well either.
- Humidity: It needs it to a high degree, so if it is very hot it is advisable to spray the leaves daily.
